Better late than..
Ok so basically if the economy is giving you jip, your family are being majorly annoying, or you feel like you need a huge load of anti-depressants, just take a look at this. It's enough to make the grumpiest man act like a children's TV presenter.
I collect smiles. 50 smiles.
Yeahh.

The cutest little book shop.
Today, I took a walk to my local shop. On the way back I clapped eyes on this shop next to the extra rough Fosters pub. I'd seen it before, it had been there for years, but I'd never seen anyone go inside, or mention it. Curiousity hit and I decided to go inside. As I approached, it was as if whatever I was seeing was multiplying more and more. What originally looked like a run down charity book sale, became (with closer inspection) the most amazing little book shop I've seen around here. Inside, were shelf after shelf of books ,some reaching the ceiling. There were new books, and books that looked as if they'd fall apart if touched. There was no one to be seen, a little door with a sign which read "enter if you'd like help or to buy", there were no cameras, just utter trust and manners.
Now, I am a curious creature. I want to travel, to find and consider different cultures, experiences, and being in a small village that produces locals who the majority would use words such as 'paki' and think a turban is the funniest thing. They're not racist, just incredibly small minded. Only some however, lets not label. But back to the point, being in a place like this only decreases inspiration and motivation for me. There isn't a place to just go and chill other than your home, no where to walk without a gang of youths getting there daily fix of proving they've got big dicks because they're 'hard'. Fuck off, it's bullshit.
This book shop is officially my favourite place in Polesworth. Possibly in Tamworth too.
I bought a book. It was £2.50 and is about poems that mark the time 1900-1942. Its got a rough green hard back cover, with gold writing and tinted brownish pages. Just a lovely size to carry in your palms.
Internet is amazing, but books are timeless.
"Here's an example from
A Butterfly;
That on a rough, hard rock
Happy can lie;
Friendless and all alone
On this unsweetened stone.
Now let my bed be hard,
No care take I;
I'll make my joy like this
Small Butterfly;
Whose happy heart has power
To make a stone a flower."

This is not a chick flick.
Ok, I will happily agree that, I too, almost puked when seeing the advertisements for the new film 'Remember Me'. Featuring that dude, Robert Patterson, that everyone seems to cream over these days, the posters include a loving head touched couple which I would have bet my whole savings (all 40 pence of it) that it was a major girly, all seen before, shitass film. So... when my friend, a lover of ol'Rob, suggested a night at the pics she caught me in a moment of pure 'want-to-get-out-my-house-so-I'll-do-anything-even-if-I-feel-sick-after' mood. I had not seen trailers, and yes, I judged the film, just like I judge Marmite- I didn't want to try it, it looked yucky.
I am a new person, I must be, because this film is quite amazing.
Well, amazing..... it's a good good good film. Everyone should go.
I'm not going to tell you any details, because it's the pure unexpectedness that makes it so great. However, it feels raw, very believable, insightful, almost like everyones life... maybe with a little added shit on the side. But, at least this whole Hollywood crap of perfect fairy tales and those girls who will go through the world nearly ending and still not have a hair out of place, is no where to be found. Robert looks dirty (which is worth an erection on it's own) and the girl isn't actually amazingly stunning and plastic. A breath of fresh air and a film for all. Sensitivity in film is evident.
Yes. See.

Because my blog is now obsessed with...
I tried to use my own writing, but it basically looks like a three year olds playtime. I think this has potential, but I'm sure it would look much better with a scribbley sketched text. I don't know. I think this hair is best. But I think I've just looked at it too much to see clearly now anyway ha.
Calling all..
Struggling with this shelf thing.
How can I get rid without losing the shadow completely? I've had a go and it looks a bit shit. So whether graphics have a magical way of doing it that they can share?? Because, my Fashion:Graphics knowledge, has evidently ran out.
