This is not a book club.

So my new years resolution two years ago was to read more.

Although I am a blogger, slight addict to the net, books are beautiful, important things! My mum has two bookcases crammed full of books from literature to tales of African tribes, and what shame I have to say I've never finished one single book on that shelf. So I shall start short.

A little book called 'All the little animals' it seems a sweet quaint book that I'm enjoying reading.

Because I really should read things other than fashion.

Competition: Assessment week.

Update.

Today has been long, we are currently working to possibly enter UK world skills competition, which includes reinventing the classic denim jacket. The prize being a weeks work experience at Debenhams. So it's a short and intense little project and due to illness and interviews I'm a little behind, but nothing a little hard work can resolve. The interview went ok by the way, well I think. You never really know.

I like this competition. Even if I don't get picked to go through, this is what I love doing, it's a design project, and I feel really inspired. I have an idea of what I going to do and I'm confident about the idea. What I'm not confident about however is the fact we have a crit at 12pm tomorrow and my sketchbook is non existent. It'll be a long old night, ahh all is well.

Me and Emily can't wait to get back to FMP. Just a week!

Ok so exciting things are happening, interviews are truly on there way. Although I had a rejection the other day but everything's ok, you move on and create new ideals, right?

Right now I'm sitting at home munching a sausage sandwich, and contemplating making a huge cuppa before I venture into Northampton for my fourth interview so far. My cat is screaming at me through the patio doors, because I threw her out this morning for being too smelly. SHE DOESN'T CLEAN. She's disgusting, but beautiful sometimes. My A1 portfolio is leaning up against the settee and the dread of dragging that onto the bus and train comes in the form of a sigh. I really will be glad when all this is over, interviews I mean. I'm wearing knee high socks, my favourite and most beautiful crepe dress ( which my mother kindly wacked in the washing machine last week when it is supposed to be hand washed. I vowed to never wear the crumpled mess again until a hip london stylist told me 'it's so cool', what a pretentious whore I am ) with a black tee over the top, red lippy and a slight dab of red sauce on my chin- thats not styling.

I wish my cat would ssh.

I also wish the animal rights people don't think this is cruelty.

It's a beautiful day! And my cream sofa doesn't desire a smudge of shit or mud or whatever my cat likes to carry with her on a daily basis.

So I guess you should wish me luck for today. Please. :)

It's been a little while. I've been concentrating on mine and emilys FMP WHICH is very exciting. Feeling really inspired lately, it's great.

So just a little post for today...

Naked art exhibition in Sydney! I saw this on the news this morning and I think it's amazing. Strangers all together in nothing but mother nature to defend them. The photographer made them hug each other- not in a pornographic kind of way- it's quite beautiful. Plus... this photo makes me laugh, I love how fetishes, porn, etc are all quite well known in society nowadays, yet showing our butt naked bodies is still rather 'naughty'. Classic.
